About Us


The Office of International & Leadership Programs in the A. James Clark School of Engineering provides a range of services and programs to students and faculty members interested in international engineering and leadership development.

Student Services

Services for students include:

  • Advising for study abroad, the Minor in International Engineering and the Minor in Engineering Leadership Development
  • Study abroad application preparation and course evaluation
  • Coursework in international engineering and leadership development
  • Applications for ENES faculty-led short-term courses abroad
  • Orientation, advising, and registration for international exchange students and interns; information sessions on international and leadership opportunities
  • Study abroad fairs
  • Advising and support to the Engineering Student Council and the Engineering Alternative Spring Break program
  • Leadership development for student societies

Services for Faculty Members

Services for faculty members include:

  • Assistance with the development and implementation of faculty-led study abroad programs
  • Advising students about international engineering opportunities
  • Sponsoring international interns and trainees
  • Class presentations on a variety of leadership topics
  • Administration and facilitation of StrengthsQuest, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and True Colors instruments
